It is always going to be out on the Mountain Course where the real drama unfolds, however, if you’re new to the live coverage, you’re able to experience the TT like never before– especially with the recent increase in the number of cameras stationed all around the Course.
As well as the live-action cameras, the TT’s kerb-cams will also be capturing the visceral experience of watching the TT, with the production team beaming pictures from the road-side to the production suite to your devices in a near-instant.

But covering the TT races in real time also means working from the air; the time trial format also dictating the use of not one, but two, helicopters. Operating each side of the Mountain Course, the two heli-cams capture the true-essence of TT racing: the lone rider slicing through the Manx countryside at speeds of up to 200mph.
Helping to decipher those time gaps will be a new on-screen graphics package, allowing you to keep track of those all-important leaderboards – as well as providing more updates on competitors circulating further down the running order.
YOUR PRESENTING TEAM
It’s not all pictures in motion, a huge part of what brings the on-screen action to life is the talented line-up of expert presenters, pundits and commentators. And, this year’s line-up is the best yet.
Taking the reins as anchor is none other than TT regular Matt Roberts, joined in the studio by a continuous cohort of guest presenters. Meanwhile, down on the ground lead presenters Rick Faragher and Grace Webb will be broadcasting from the startline and grid.

Throughout the two weeks of action, the presenting team will be joined by a host of accomplished pundits including Steve Plater, Patrick Farrance, Horst Saiger, as well as former TT winner and sidecar legend Tom Birchall, to name just a few.
Up in the commentary booth, although new to the live coverage, you’ll be hearing from some known voices as bringing this year’s TT broadcast to life will be lead commentator Steve Day, joined in the box by co-commentator James Whitham.
