Ryder Lyons, a five-star quarterback from Folsom, California, has scheduled a visit to Auburn for July 29, one day after Auburn wraps up its annual Big Cat Weekend... "I went up there in the spring and it felt like a family. I felt the love... Fisher's commitment to Auburn comes after entering the transfer portal on June 28... Butch Thompson and the Auburn Tigers got some huge news on Saturday... "She should give us immediate depth on all four events, but we see her contributing quickly on vault and beam... A former North Fort Meyers (Florida) High School standout, Gotay arrived at Maryland in 2018... Ryder Lyons, the No. 3 quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class, has set a visit with Auburn football later this month... Former Maryland linebacker Fa'Najae Gotay announced as a signee by the Tigers. Gotay entered the transfer portal back in June as a grad transfer... When Gotay arrives to The Plains, he'll use his COVID year of eligibility and suit up for his seventh year of college football... After spending six seasons with the Terrapins, Gotay joins the Tigers as a seasoned college veteran. Over his career, he has totaled 133 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions... Jacobe Ward is a big young man who many major college programs highly coveted... Recruiting is not for the faint of heart... Bruce Pearl has been a prime example of someone who shows that the transfer portal is equally as important as high school recruiting... "The ceiling of the offense was always going to be artificially limited until you figured out the offensive line," Crosby said. "And arguably, that's one of the reasons why Gus Malzahn ended up leaving Auburn was because the offensive line was not good... Auburn viewed Ward as an instant impact player at guard and someone that offensive line coach Jake Thornton pushed hard to get... Auburn has a solid class in place ahead of Big Cat Weekend. They have the luxury of big-game hunting... Davidson becomes Auburn's 15th recruit for the class of 2025... The 3-star tight end from McIntosh (Ga.) announced on the 4th of July that he was committed to Auburn... "To build it the right way that will last is the way we're doing it. We're recruiting at a high level... "I do believe we're gonna be really close to a top-five class when it's all said and done... "She is a gutsy competitor with a great work ethic. She's versatile in what she can do defensively and brings a lot of offensive potential to our lineup... Butch Thompson and the Auburn baseball Tigers added some potential firepower on Sunday and one of the most versatile players in the transfer portal... "Take care of things close to home first. McLeod found his new home in Auburn thanks to the appeal of multiple factors, including the electric atmosphere of Jordan-Hare Stadium, the defensive scheme of the Tigers and the overall culture being built by head coach Hugh Freeze... The Tigers have lost a pair of 2025 commitments this week... Auburn already felt it was in a good place with its 2024-25 roster. Then it added a two-time leading scorer from a high-major program... The key for Auburn is to stay in the game. Sometimes recruits have a recruiting visit euphoria that wears off in a few days... The Mobile native chose Auburn over the likes of Florida State and Mississippi State. As of late, USC has come into play in Smith's recruitment, with Smith having recently made a trip out to Los Angeles last weekend... Henderson's commitment bumped Auburn to No. 4... Ole Miss transfer Ma'Nia Womack announced her plans to transfer to Auburn... Everyone is anxious to see what quarterback recruit Julian "Ju Ju" Lewis will decide... Robinson arrives at Auburn with two years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer... Auburn announced the signing of Colorado transfer and former Alabama defensive back Jahquez Robinson on Friday evening... "Hugh Freeze made me feel like a top priority... Henderson is a huge pickup for Auburn in this cycle... Hugh Freeze made it clear this offseason that his goal was to eventually land top-five classes consistently for the Tigers down the line. As of right now, Auburn has one... "Deep down and truly I know where home is and I knew where home was from the beginning... With his flip, Henderson becomes the 10th ESPN 300 commit in Hugh Freeze's second signing class with the Tigers... Alvin Henderson is not your typical running back. MaxPreps has him rushing for 3,523 yards and 61 touchdowns as a junior, he's a workhorse willing to carry the football over and over to help his team win... "Ever since I've been committed to Penn State, Coach Freeze no lie texts me every day... The switch to the Tigers was announced on Friday. In a tweet, Henderson wrote "#WarEagle I'm staying home... With Henderson in the fold, Auburn has secured its first running back commitment since the 2023 recruiting cycle and brings the Tigers' 2025 recruiting class to a total of 16 commitments... The Tigers are fully prepared to mix it against their heavyweight rivals. The past month has also seen cornerback Donovan Starr, defensive prospect Bryce Deas and offensive linemen Broderick Shull all join Winters in committing to Auburn... One player that he has landed out of the transfer portal was one of the nation's top offensive line prospects... The Tigers could eventually pull off a recruiting flip. That recruit is Isaiah Gibson... Auburn will need to replace some key guys in the starting rotation and in the bullpen... Lewis is already considered to be an NFL-caliber prospect, and he still has two years of eligibility remaining... It was one of Malzahn's more talented groups on paper, ranked No. 8 nationally... He's likely to play safety for the Tigers, though he also will play wide receiver for the Wildcats this fall and was the team's quarterback a year ago... Carter was ranked as the top incoming freshman in the American Athletic Conference last season, and the No. 57 incoming prospect in the country... Coach Butch Thompson and the Auburn Tigers picked up a huge commitment on Monday when Creighton RHP Mason Koch chose the Tigers... "I knew about two weeks ago it was Auburn. What coach Freeze is building, how the coaches want to use me and just staying home feels right... There are 15 verbal commitments in the fold and several more top-notch recruits have the Tigers high on their list of schools, including 5-star quarterback Julian "Ju Ju" Lewis from Carrollton (Ga.) High School. He is ESPN's No. 1 overall recruit... Thompson's goal was to infuse new and improved talent into a pitching staff that struggled mightily both with its starters and bullpen. Thompson has now taken several positive steps... "I love the atmosphere here. I love the vibe. I think it's a great campus. I have been able to get to know this coaching staff... Winters announced his commitment to Hugh Freeze and the Tigers on Saturday afternoon... Winters is a huge recruiting win for Hugh Freeze and this Auburn staff... Gaining a player who can play at least five positions and play all of them well is rare at the modern college football level... Eric has been nothing short of amazing for the Wildcats athletics program. He helped the football team finish 9-3 last season making it to the second round of the Class 7A playoffs... He is now the 15th member of Auburn's 2025 recruiting class, now firmly ranked in the top 10 nationally and approaching the top five... Joining forces with his brother once again, Sam Dutton said he's excited about the chance to team up once again and do it at Auburn... This weekend's haul will be the most important to date, as 12 members of Auburn's hot board are set to flock to the Plains... Hugh Freeze also picked up a second five-star prospect in edge rusher Amaris Williams, who could be a game-changer on the defensive front for years to come... Andrew Dutton led Birmingham-Southern with a .340 batting average. He also had seven home runs and 42 RBIs. He started 49 games as a middle infielder. He will be coming to Auburn for his fifth year... The opportunity is there for him at Auburn. Even with three years of high school football remaining, he's watching closely what happens on the Plains... Auburn is set to host a tremendous list of recruits this upcoming weekend... Hetzler made 25 appearances in 2024 all out of the bullpen and pitched a total of 41.1 innings. He had a 5-1 record with a 2.59 ERA. He had four saves. Opponents hit .284 against him... While Deas is listed as a linebacker, he's being recruited to Auburn as a "defensive athlete" capable of playing in the backend, at linebacker or potentially even elsewhere as he plays running back and wide receiver for his high school team, too... Lewis was stellar in a supporting role under former Georgia State wide receiver Jamari Thrash in 2022 by hauling in 22 catches for 379 yards and six scores... "I love it at Auburn. It's family, for real... Deas was at Auburn's recruiting camp over the weekend, received a scholarship offer and committed all within three days... June has become the month of official visits. By the time this month is done, Hugh Freeze and his staff will have hosted close to 40 official visitors in a span of about three weeks... "I did pray about it for a bit. I feel that feeling is what God spoke to me about and that's being an Auburn football player... This weekend's list of visitors includes Alabama commits Derick Smith and Antonio Coleman, as well as priority wide receiver Travis Smith Jr. Hugh Freeze was surprised Thursday as four-star linebacker Christian Jones changed gears by scheduling his official visit to Auburn... He is Auburn's 12th commitment for the Class of 2025, their eighth 4-star or better prospect. The Tigers are going heavy on defense early in the process. Of their top-eight commitments, six of them are on the defensive side of the ball including 5-star defensive lineman Malik Autry from nearby Opelika... Auburn is also making a push for five-star offensive lineman Andrew Babalola in this class. he and Shull have a relationship and it could help Auburn's chances with getting another big man upfront... "Auburn was close to home, but really it was the people that made me want to come... The 4-star offensive tackle from Bixby, Oklahoma, announced on social media on Friday afternoon that he was committing to Auburn... With the ability to catch and also play the corner infield and potentially corner outfield spots, the rising junior will head to Auburn after two huge seasons for the Bulldogs following a big career at Hoover High School... The Tigers add power by bringing in Steele, who hit 16 home runs and plated 51 RBI while hitting .315 at the plate for the Bulldogs. For Steele, its a chance to play baseball for his dream school. "Auburn has been a part of my whole life... "If White went out to an Atlanta Falcons practice and wore a helmet as he ran onto the field, nobody would question if he belonged out there from a physical point of view... The Tigers have high hopes for their 2025 class, as Freeze believes if the program continue recruiting at a top-10, potentially top-5 level, it can acquire the baseline of talent necessary to return to the upper echelon of the SEC and get back on the road to championship contention... "I just got that feeling, it felt like home and when you know you know... The Thompson High standout will choose between Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and LSU... The top prospect is currently being hosted by a fellow Tiger program up north, Clemson, before he will travel down I-85 later this week to visit Auburn... The Tigers put together a solid crop of 14 pickups to fill gaps across the roster and put Auburn in a better spot depth-wise to compete in 2024... "Miles is our 12th player on scholarship and completes our roster... Auburn will likely need to look to the transfer portal to add to its pitching staff as both Maddie Penta and Shelby Lowe have run out of eligibility, while Annabelle Widra has elected to enter the transfer portal. Together, that trio was responsible for more than 90% of Auburn's pitching in 2024... Hugh Freeze is making sure that he does whatever he can to land the talented players... Auburn's recruiting weekend went extremely well... Kelly who committed to Auburn last week and is officially set to return to college after withdrawing from the NBA Draft on Wednesday is the most proven at the high-major level... After Auburn made several attempts to land another guard to add depth to the position, Kelly ultimately became the answer. Once he signs and is added to Auburn's roster, it will be the finalization of the 2024-25 team... "I'm beyond stoked to announce my verbal commitment to Auburn University...
