Get as muchvigorasyoucould,but you're definitelygoing to want to increase thisthroughout the game to at least 40 or 50probably by level 50.We have our damageincreased pretty high with strength anddexterity,so from this point forwardplaying this build,you're probably goingto want to increase figure and mind alot more than you are strength anddexterity.Endurance is justenough to use the armor and weapons thatwe're using in mid-roll. Strength and dexterity pretty simplyincrease bow damage for ournagakiba.Faith is at 15 this is exactly enough touse flame,grant me strength is why wehave it there and 12 arcane is actuallytoo much you only need 10 for the bloodflame blame spell.

Weapon

Quality Nagakiba

There are a few reasons for this,first,the weapon has an incredibly long reach itis the longest katana in the game byfar.Probably almost double the length ofmost katanas in the game which gives youa significant advantage when trying tohit difficult-to-hit bosses ones thatare wiry etc.It's also fantastic becausethe running r2 attack is sort of a slideand poke and giving you that extra range,means that you can stay out of harm'sway by rolling backward immediately afterward and keeping your distance fromenemies.

Set the quality affinity on thisweapon with the unsheathed ash of warand there are a couple of reasons for that. First, we want to keep the damage typephysical in order to be able to buffthis if we set it to blake bleed or fireor magic.We won't be able to buff the blade sokeeping it physical is ideal.

But you can do the questlineto get it without killing him if you'drather do it that way.

Greatbow

Greatbowisthe next weaponwe're using for this build.You're going to meetthe requirements for strength anddexterity for it already,because of theway you're set up for this build,so it'sa good candidate for a greatbow.Also when you use reign of arrows withthis build,it hits like a freight train. So it's a very good way to do a lotof damage at range against particularlybigger targetsthattargets all thearrows will hitbecause they kind ofscatter around a little bit. Trying to pick them offat range before you have to engage themin melee or weaken them from rangebefore you have to engage them.Greatarrows are quite expensive and you can'tcarry nearly as many of them.So gettingevery ounce of damage out of every arrowis fantastic and rain of arrows onlyuses one arrow per use. You can use anyother greatbow for this buildbutthis one has double d scaling.

How to get rain of arrows: You canget the reign of arrow skill inCalid. You got to go get the“Redmane”painting in the town of sorceryand then go over to the earth tree anddrop over the cliff and get it.

Seals

Finger Seals

We're going touse thisin order to cast two spells which areblood flame blade and flame,grant mestrength.The reason we want thesesealsinstead of the claw mark seal isthat, for some reason on the claw markseal,the strength does not apply to theincantation scaling to increase thedamage of the blood flame blade.If it did,itwould outperform the finger seal.But itdoesn't so,if that ever gets changed,you'll want to switch to claw mark seal. But for the time being,the finger seal isthe best seal that we meet therequirements for and is going to improvethe damage to the blood flame blade.

Flame,grant me strengths damage doesn'tincrease with any sort of scaling.So it doesn't matterwhat seal you use for that spell,but ifyou want to get the most out of the bloodflame blade,then you're going to want touse the finger seal.

Armors

Land of Reeds Set

As far as armor goesfor this build,you can really use anythat you want to use.You can go withthe samuraiarmor or some of the different samuraiarmors in the game.You want to make surewhatever you do,you can stillmedium roll though.So make sure it's nottoo heavy.

Heads

Mask of Confidence

It givesyoualittle bit of arcane,you need 10 arcanein order to use the blood flame blade.But ifyou just put a point or two into arcaneor if you don't have enough arcane youcan put a point or two in there that'sfine and if you want to use somethingelse instead.For some reason youdon't have enough arcane,using thisshould get you to where you need to be.

Talismans

Ritual Sword Talisman

The ritual sword talismanis absolutely fantastic and it increasesyour damage by 10%when you're at fullhealth.This is really good for any buildthat uses bows for instance becauseyou're trying to pick things off fromfar away before you ever get hit and youshould be at full health most of thetime.If you're playing an archer buildand you're wondering how to increaseyour damage at this point in the game,gopick up this talisman because that'sgoing to give you 10%more damage.

Blessed Dew Talisman

Blesseddewtalisman is there toregenerate health in between encountersto get back up to 100%to further boostyour damage by 10%. Sometimes when you're fighting you takechip damage and it's too little to use apotion,but you want that extra damageincrease.So this is there to top you offbetween encounters and you might want tosub this out for something else in bossfights.

Arrow’s Sting Talisman

Arrow’s sting talisman increases yourarrow damage by 10%. Again you're going tobe using a bow withthis build as well.So getting that extradamage with it is fantastic.You have about 30arrows before you run out,so you're notgoing to use it like you would an archerbuild,picking everything off with it.Butyou're going to use it for hard-to-hittargets or targets that are extremelydifficult and you're going to want touse it with the raid of arrows when you havetough enemies that are bigger too.

Carian Filigreed Crest

This reduces your skill cost by 25%.Rain of arrows is 20 fp bydefault,so that's going to knock it downto 15.And unsheathed abilities are 10 for ther1 and 15 for the r2,so that's going toknock them down by a few points each.That's going to allow you to conserve fpin order to use these abilities more.Youdon't have a ton of fp with this buildat this point in the game,because yousimply don't have the stats for it.Whenyou hit 150,you should have a lot morefp and you can probably swap that outfor something that increases yourskill damage.But at this point,havingthe FP cost reduction is better.

The two spellswe use for this build are blood flameblade and flame,grant me strength.Theserequire 10 arcane and 12 faith for bloodflame blade and 15 faith for flame,grantme strength.Flame,grant me strengthdoesn't increase in damage no matterwhat you do.It's going to give you 20%more physical damage and 20%morefire damage for 30 seconds.There's noway to increase that damage,so you don'thave to worry about increasing yourfaith and it's one of the reasons we useit for this build.Because we giveourselves just enough faith to be ableto use this blood flame blade,wecan increase our damage without having asignificant investment in fate.

This alsoapplies to your bow so if you areplanning on shooting things with yourbow from outside of combat ortriggering a fight,make sure you buffyourself with flame,grant me strengthfirst, and then use your bow.Blood flameblade is a fire buff,you can use toenchant your weapon which is againa reason that we don't make our weapon adamage type.We keep it physical so thatwe can use this spell and it applies 40%of your incantation scaling to yourweapon for 60 seconds.So it's aboutdouble the length of flame,grant mestrength.

Conclusions

On topof that,it makes your bleedbuild up continue to build up for aperiod of time after your attack ends. Normally when you hit an enemy with aweapon that has bleed build upon it,they just take as much on their bar, and then the second you stopattacking it starts to drain.But withthis buff on it continues to go up for alittle bit,giving you more time to getback in position to attack again beforeit starts draining.So it makes it a loteasier to proc hemorrhage on enemiesripping off huge chunks of their health. What's really good about this spellis because it adds fire damage to yourweapon and you're using flame,grant mestrength which adds physical damage andfire damage.That's actually buffing thefire damage from this as well.You canactually add other spells to this buildand it's possible that over time you'lladd a little bit more faith in order toget other buffs.
